2021 Best Damn Race Options If Any Event is Cancelled Due to COVID-19

Best Damn race understands that deferring a race or going virtual doesn't work for everyone. That's why they added a full refund option (minus the processing fee) for 2021 events cancelled by COVID.

The best way to support a race organization is to defer your race or run it virtually; but if that isn't possible BDR gives you an extra option. That's very cool.

If a 2021 BDR event is cancelled due to COVID-19 you can:

Defer to 2022 at no charge.
Go Virtual. Get your medal and swag in the mail.
Receive a full refund of your race fee minus your RunSignup processing fee.

For example: if you pay $20 for your 5K + a $2.50 processing fee, you will get $20 refund; if you pay $90 for your Triple Challenge + the $6.15 processing fee, your refund is $90 (not $96.15).

If the event happens, you still have the option to:

Transfer to another runner up to 2 weeks out, at no charge.
Defer to 2022: up to 8 days out = no charge, up to 4 days out = $15 charge, no deferrals less than 4 days out.
Transfer to another city up to 4 weeks out. No charge unless the other event costs more, then you just pay the difference.
