Everyone is welcome — Santa, elves, reindeer, snowman, strollers and dogs. And, believe me, I've seen everything from Santa with a sleigh and eight reindeer, to drunk elves running this race! It's hilarious.
Recently, race organizers added "Glow Zones" and race shirts that glow in blacklight, which adds another fun dimension. Racers and spectators hear the jingle of bells and see the glow of holiday lights move through town.
Register in person Nov. 18-Dec. 13, or Online
T-shirts, jingle bells and neon necklaces are distributed at registration. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Feel free to add your own bells and glow accessories!
You can register in person from November 18 to December 13 at six area locations*. Online registration is available at BoleyCenters.org. If you register online, you pick up your goodies the night of the race. Registration is $25 in advance, $30 the night of the race for adults. Fee for kids under 12 is $20 in advance and $25 on race night.
*See BoleyCenters.org to find local registration locations.
This is where you'll find me writing instead of running. (But, you know I'll be writing about running, right?)
