Best Damn Race NOLA 5K Race Course
BDR New Orleans Half Marathon Course
The race begins in the French Quarter and finishes at Louis Armstrong Park with a fun post-race celebration of your achievement! You'll see the sights and sounds of New Orleans as you make your way through the city on foot.
There are 11 aid stations (each with 2 port-a-potties) along the course. There will be Gatorade and Water at all stations, plus GU Gels and Cliff Shots at mile 3.5, 6.5, and 11.5.
Sugar Skull Finisher Medals Glow in the Dark
The great sugar skull medal tradition continues this year with another awesome design for the 5K and half marathon finisher medals. The eyes on the medals glow in the dark.
BDR NOLA Runner SWAG and Perks
We all love SWAG (stuff we all get), and BDR is putting something extra in your goodie bags this year — NOLA socks! That's right, register now and you'll get a sweet pair of socks along with your race shirt and samples.
You have a choice of Men's and Women's cut race shirts at sign up. The socks feature iconic NOLA images, including Mardi Gras beads.
All runners receive free food, free beer and other adult beverages, and the option for a free massage after the race. Both courses are USATF Certified and chip timed.
Enjoy a post race party and Health & Fitness Expo in Louis Armstrong Park after the races.
Health & Fitness Expo and Packet Pickup
The Free Health and Fitness expo is at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans on Saturday, and at the race site (Louis Armstrong Park) on Sunday. Exhibitors will have free samples; running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and more. If you forget a race day essential you can grab it at the expo.
Packet Pickup and Expo Location and Times
If you can, please pickup your race packet on Saturday at the Hyatt Regency. Each person can pick up 2 packets with a paper or text copy of each participant's photo ID. Parents can pick up for children under 18 years old.
