The Boley Centers Jingle Bell Run is more casual than other races throughout the year. For us, it's a standing date to spend the evening with friends. We toast the year and holiday season before and after the race. This year it was a warm, balmy night. Most race participants were lit like Christmas trees while wearing shorts. I love a night race with glow necklaces, blinking lights, and holiday costumes. The race begins at a park on the waterfront. Runners moved north along the bay for an out an back. The downtown location is festive and fun because there are lights and people everywhere. The race organizers lit the course with luminarias, which looked lovely while they lasted. There were live singers and bands, lots of puppies, kids, and families participating. It was lots of fun, and all for a good cause. #JingleBellRun #BoleyCenters #EndTheStigma #DTSP #HolidayRace
