Hippie Dash Offers In Person and Virtual Races

Whether you're competitive or laid-back, you'll enjoy the Hippie Dash! You can register right up until race time.

Run, walk or stroll your way around Safety Harbor on May 14 at the Goodwill Hippie Dash. Events begin and end at the City Marina on a certified race course. Walkers and strollers are welcome, but MUST start behind the runners.

Don't forget to wear your hippie threads — because yes, there's a costume contest with prizes!

The races begin and end at the Safety Harbor Municipal Marina.

There's a Race for Every Hippie

There's something for every runner or walker this year. The Hippie Dash returns to Safety Harbor's waterfront for a 5K, 10K and new Keep on Truckin' Challenge in 2022.

​The ​Keep on Truckin' Challenge includes both the 10K and the 5K. Challenge finishers earn bonus bling (3 medals!) and bragging rights.

​Want to participate with your doggo or push the kids in a stroller? Cool, man. All you have to do is register for the Walk, Woof & Roll 1-mile event. Dogs and strollers are welcome.  

There's even a 1-mile Flower Child Fun Run for little hippies!

Hippie Dash 5K and 10K Race Courses

Run or walk along Safety Harbor's waterfront and support Goodwill.

Earn Your Groovy Bling, Man

2022 events include: 5K, 10K, 1 Mile Walk, and 5K + 10K Keep on Truckin' Challenge.

Costume Contest and Post Race Party

Dig out your tie-die, beads, and headbands for this race! There's a costume contest along with the races.

Prizes awarded for best-dressed grown up hippie, best Flower Child, and best doggie.

After the races, enjoy a party that includes FREE beer and munchies.

​Get your groove on listening to 1960s music and perusing the vintage VWs on display.
