CANCELLED: Bradenton Conquistador Half & 5K on December 15, 2018

Reimbursement for Registration

The 3rd Annual Bradenton Conquistador Half and 5K scheduled for December 15th was officially cancelled today. The email to registered participants said a number of factors lead to the cancellation. No other details were given. Runners will receive registration refunds within 30 days.

​President of the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society, John DeLesline, expressed regret that the event was cancelled. No word on if there will be a race next year. The first two years, the races were held in October. This year's event was moved from October to December. 

Previous details about the race can be found here and here. I'm disappointed that I won't get to run this half in downtown Bradenton. But, my fingers are crossed the race will return at some point.
