The Best Damn Race Freakin' Hot 5K happens in one month on August 7, 2021. Best Damn Race added this event to the 2021 season so runners could get back to racing. A Summer race is also a great way to check in on your fitness level on the way to Fall races.

This Summertime 5K takes place in beautiful Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in New Port Richey. The course is on a combination of paved walkways and trails. 

Run on paved walkways and trails through beautiful Starkey Wilderness Park. Watch for Super Soakers at the aid stations! After your race, hop on the Water Slide to cool off some more!

Safety Harbor runs in October this year, but returns to its regular February schedule in 2022.

Here's the 2022 BDR Race Calendar:

• Safety Harbor - Feb. 5-6, 2022
• Orlando - March 5, 2022
• New Orleans - March 20, 2022
• Savannah - TBD

Registration is open NOW for New Orleans in 2022. Safety Harbor and Orlando will open after the 2021 races are completed. Stay tuned for details on a new date for Savannah in 2022.
