Run Smart: A Nutrition Guide for Runners
It doesn't matter if you're running a 5K, 10K, Half or Full Marathon — you'll always do better when you eat right. Good food is the best fuel for a runner.
Still, knowing food is fuel doesn't mean I always make the best choices. It's easier to eat smart when you have a plan. A plan makes shopping and food prep part of the training.
Nutrition strategist, Yvette Waters MS, RDN, CISSN of Raley's Nob Hill Foods created a helpful guide for runners. She explains how to prep for your race with good nutrition during training, the week before you race, and after your event.
