There have been rumors and rumblings for a year about a race up and over the intimidating 430-foot high Skyway Bridge. Yesterday the race became a reality! 

Runners and walkers who register will get the chance to beat this beauty of a bridge!

The Bob Graham Sunshine Skyway Bridge, known to locals as the Sunshine Skyway Bridge spans Tampa Bay, Florida, with a cable-stayed main span. The bridge is 21,877 feet long. It is 430 feet high. (Wikipedia)

The Inaugural Skyway 10K will give 100% of proceeds to Armed Forces Families Foundation, 501c3 non-profit organization.

The Inaugural #Skyway10K is March 4, 2018

• ​Runners and Walkers Welcome
• ​Race is capped at 7,000 participants.
• ​Age: Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Cost: $75 firm. No discounts or codes since proceeds go to charity. 
• Time: 6:15 - 10:00 am. 
• Participants receive a race shirt and finisher medal.
• Runners park at Tropicana Field in downtown St. Pete and take a bus to the bridge. Buses will return runners to Tropicana Field after the race.
• Absolutely no strollers, bikes, skateboards, roller blades, etc.

• FYI: The race was 25% sold within 12 hours; 60% sold in 2 days.
