Week 3: Hot Chocolate 15K Training and Watercolor Sketchbooking

Week three of training for the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K in Tampa on Dec. 19 flew by! The countdown continues with running and sketching.

This week I was obsessed with fall colors. I had so much fun painting foliage, that I'm sure I'll do it again.

​The spooky creatures continue to multiply — this week should be super scary since my neighborhood hosts a Haunted Hike this coming weekend. 

Cooler temps, lower humidity and spooky decorations, are making running so much fun. Take a peek below for this week's sketches and mileage counts.

The lower humidity has been FANTASTIC! Lots of activity around the lake.

I loved painting fall foliage with watercolors. I grew up in Pittsburgh, and have lived in Florida for years. I still miss those fall colors on the mountains.

Thinking about all the chocolate at the finish line made me want to sketch the finisher's mug.

This week's mileage total was 23.88 miles.

Lava Blast Pumas have 7 more miles than Pink.
